The platform is a monitoring tool for criminal cases related to corruption and electoral integrity in the Republic of Moldova, developed by the Legal Resources Centre from Moldova (CRJM). Its purpose is to ensure transparency of judicial proceedings and inform the public about the progress of high-level corruption cases.
The platform provides access to structured information about criminal cases, defendants, event timelines, legal classifications, financial indicators, and CRJM expert observations.
Information is collected from official and public sources:
Court decisions — published on the portal of courts in the Republic of Moldova (instante.justice.md).
Prosecutor's Office communications — press releases from the General Prosecutor's Office and Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.
Court of Accounts reports — annual and thematic audit reports.
Media sources — verified press publications used for contextualization.
The CRJM team analyzes and structures this information, adding expert observations on investigation quality and the effectiveness of applied sanctions.
The platform offers several ways to find a case:
Text search — enter the defendant's name, case number, or keywords in the search bar on the "Cases" page.
Filtering — use available filters: case type (criminal/contravention), procedural stage (investigation, trial, verdict, appeal), verdict type, period.
Homepage navigation — the "Recent cases" section displays the latest added or updated cases.
CRJM expert observations are independent analyses prepared by the Legal Resources Centre from Moldova's team of lawyers. They provide a professional assessment of investigation quality, respect for procedural rights, proportionality of sanctions, and the effectiveness of the judicial system in corruption cases.
The observations do not represent an official position on the guilt or innocence of defendants, but rather a legal analysis of how anti-corruption mechanisms function in practice.
Yes! Each case has an interactive infographic that can be exported in PDF or JPG format using the buttons in the "Infographic" section corner. Infographics include the case timeline, defendant data, applied criminal articles, and financial indicators.
